There is no more a spectacular city than Madrid combining a culture going back hundreds of years with the latest in ultramodern architecture. This is where they will find Madrid’s only cable car, that goes by the name of the Teleférico. The Teleférico, once a part of the Parque de Atracciones amusement park, is situated a few minutes walk from Argüelles Metro station.

Each cable car is large enough to comfortably fit six people. The Teleférico cable car operates all year round, call however during the winter months the service is open only infrequently and never during really bad weather.
